Journeys International Issues Consumer Advisory Regarding Fraudulent Imposter Website, Telegram Scam, and Fraudulent WhatsApp Messages

Ann Arbor, Michigan, August 20, 2025 — Journeys International has learned of a fraudulent operation in India misusing the Journeys International name and logo. The actors are impersonating Journeys International, contacting people through WhatsApp or Telegram, and directing them to a website that is not affiliated with Journeys International.

Travelers should engage only through Journeys International’s official channels:

• The legitimate website is www.journeysinternational.com
• Official email addresses end with @journeysinternational.com and @journeys.travel
• Journeys International does not complete financial transactions through WhatsApp, Telegram, or other unverified messaging platforms

What to do if you receive a suspicious message

1. Do not click links or provide personal information.
2. Forward screenshots or details to info@journeysinternational.com so our team can investigate.
3. If contacted via WhatsApp, use the in-app Report and Block features, and report the activity to WhatsApp. Telegram users should report any suspicious activity via the Telegram app.
4. If you wish, you may also report scams to the Federal Trade Commission at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov. Travelers outside the United States should report to their local consumer protection agency.
